Dr. Stephen C. Moran was born in Columbus, Ohio, raised in an Air Force family, and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended Creighton Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated cum laude, with honors, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Moran and his wife, Kandi, chose Roswell to be their home and have enjoyed serving the community and offering excellent dental services. They raised thier children, Holly and Luke, in Roswell, and continue to share the joys of Roswell with their five wonderful grandchildren.
Highly trained and educated in all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Moran thrives on keeping pace with advancing technology in the dental profession. His continuing education includes a Fellowship in the Academy of General Denistry, training in Orthodontics, Laser Therapy, CadCam Dentistry and Implantology. He is trained and skilled in restoring the entire mouth, cosmetics, endodontics, dental surgery, and providing dentistry for the entire family. Dr. Moran stays on the cutting edge of dentistry and technology and considers maintaining active memberships and participation in the dental academies as part of his overall training. Dr. Moran is a member of the Academy of General Dentisty, the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association, and the Southeastern New Mexico Dental Society.
Dr. Moran enjoys the Pecos Valley Rotary, of which he is past president and has received the Paul Harris Award. He is a member and past deacon of Grace Community Church. Dr. Moran volunteers in the Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental Services, and in missions to Mexico.
Camping, snow skiing, hunting, and fishing are hobbies of Dr. Moran’s. He especially loves flying and is a licensed private pilot. Spending time and traveling with his family brings excitement and joy. Dr. Moran is passionate bout people and has always desired to serve. His goal is to deliver the best family dental care available to his patients and is blessed by now seeing third and fourth generations of families. Dr. Moran believes gentle, comprehensive dentistry and care with the latest technology and old fashioned attention, brings better overall health to the mouth, the body and the soul.
